Average Adult Size : 0.75 - 1.25 inches / 1.9 - 3.2cm

Place Of Origin : South East Asia / Tank Bred Morph

Minimum Aquarium Capacity : 10 gallons imperial / 45 litres

Compatability : Best kept in a species only aquarium 

Water Temperature : 62 – 72 Deg F / 16.7 – 22.2Deg C

Water Ph, Kh ,Dh : 6.0 - 7.0 | 0- 2 Kh | 4 - 6 Dh

Difficulty : Intermediate - Difficult

Feeding : The Black King Kong Shrimp is a herbivore and will eat biofilm and algae that naturally occurs in the aquarium, you should also feed them with other foods such as blanched spinach, algae wafers and shrimp pellets, make sure not to over feedas this can result in killing theshrimp if too much waste is left,

Sexing : This can be achieved once the Black King Kong Shrimp reaches sexual maturity, the females will tend to larger with a more rounded undercarriage where the males will be smaller with a flatter undercarriage.  

Breeding : This can be done if given the correct water requirements, plenty of filtration is reccommended also to keep the parameters stable but do not keep with other Caridina species as cross breeding will occur.

Additional Information : The Black King Kong Shrimp is one of the more sort after shrimp in the hobby but they are a difficult one to keep, not one advised for beginners.  They are expensive to buy but well worth the commitment to have some of the most beautiful shimp on the market.
